DESCRIPTION

Size:   HALF GALLON

Color:   AQUAMARINE

Closure:  original cast iron cap (has rust as shown but solid) with replaced gasket

Appearance:  sparkling glass

Condition:  normal flaking of the ground mouth

Embossing:  strong, and note the mis-spelling which should read "FRIDLEY" not "FRIEDLEY"

Base: unmarked

Age:  c1860

Availability:  very scarce and a great looking early jar
