An early Ball-made aqua pint embossed on one side with a star figure and: "HAHNE & CO NEWARK NJ" and on the other side "MASONS PATENT NOV 30TH 1858". Strong embossing with sparkling glass and no damage or stains. The ground rim has the normal edge roughness. There is a small manufacturing flake on the side where the jar stuck to another during annealing. Base: "5". Very scarce in this early hand-blown version.
