An early aqua wide-mouth half gallon embossed with a large, extra-fancy, dual-outlined "DGCo" monogram. Correct original wide-mouth glass lid with the same monogram, and original zinc band. The insert is glued in place in the band. The jar is in fine shape with no damage or stains, including an excellent ground rim with very little nicking. Base: "2". Attributed by Creswick to Diamond Glass Co of Montreal.
