DESCRIPTION

Size:  HALF GALLON

Color:  AQUAMARINE

Closure:  original tin cap, which has been re-used in the typical manner for these jars, which was to break the seal by perforating the lid, and then solder the hole shut for reuse

Appearance: shiny glass

Condition:  edge chips on the mouth

Embossing:  strong

Age:  late 1800's

Availability: uncommon
