A pint shoulder seal jar embossed in well-raised lettering: "MASONS GCCo PATENT NOV 30TH 1858". The color is a strong yellow green, with distinctive amber swirls spiraling throughout the body of the jar. Shiny clean glass without damage or stains, with the exception of a thin chip inside the ground mouth that has not yet detached. Comes with a lettered Boyds zinc cap as shown. Base: "3". The monogram "GCCo" was for the Giles-Clough Company of Redkey, Indiana, the maker of this jar.
