DESCRIPTION

Size:  HALF GALLON

Color:  AQUAMARINE

Closure:  original glass lid and a replica metal clamp (note that the glass lid has a repair to the bottom projecting collar)

Appearance: sparkling glass with crude character

Condition:  jar has no damage

Embossing:  strong

Base: unmarked

Age:  1860's

Availability: scarce and a great-looking example
