DESCRIPTION

Size:  QUART

Color: AQUAMARINE

Closure:  fine original metal cap with much of the lettering readable, and the original wire clamp. The lid is a rare example having no pinholes.

Appearance: sparkling glass

Condition:  edge flaking on the ground mouth

Embossing:  strong

Base:  "PATd NOV 26 1867" encircling a "28"

Age:  c1870

Availability: rare especially with such a fine original closure
