DESCRIPTION

Size:  QUART

Color: STRONG OLIVE

Closure:  early lettered zinc cap

Appearance: sparkling glass

Condition:  Excellent ground lip with very little flaking. There is a dark colored cooling fissure in the base, below the embossed "7" as shown.

Embossing: strong 

Base:  "A71"

Age:  late 1800's

Availability: A strong and appealing color that is rarely seen in an 1858 Mason jar.
