Closure: early Hero zinc cap

Appearance: sparkling with a good strong whittled effect all over

Condition: flaking of the ground mouth

Strength of embossing: strong

Base: "PAT NOV 26 67" encircling a "297"

Age: late 1800's

Availability: very scarce in clear glass, and a beautifully crude, whittled example
