Closure: Rare original unlined wide mouth zinc screw cap with wide bottom flange, showing the Masons 1857 patent date. The cap is intact, but has a split running along the thread almost all the way around. The lid, once repaired, will be one of the few intact examples known to exist.

Base: spun base is almost perfectly flat
