DESCRIPTION

Size:  HALF GALLON

Color:  LIGHT to MEDIUM AMBER

Closure:  original unmarked matching color glass lid and a zinc screw band

Appearance:  sparkling glass

Condition:  edge flaking of the ground mouth all around from the manufacturing

Embossing: strong (with peened out ghosted lettering visible below MASONS)

Base: "H_17"

Age:  late 1800's

Availability: uncommon and a good sharp example
