A light orange-amber half gallon embossed: "THE MASONS IMPROVED". Sparkling glass with fine swirls and a light whittled effect. No damage or stains. The ground rim has a flake running along the inside edge. The glass insert is darker amber and most likely original to the jar. It is embossed: MASONS IMPROVED HERO GLASS WORKS PHILA. The base is embossed with a large "H5".
