A large-sized very dark olive green utility jar, circa early 19th century. Free blown with a jagged open pontil scarred base and a formed collar mouth. Heavy base wear and displays a crude, slightly mis-shapen form. Measures roughly 10 inches tall and 5-3/4 inches in diameter at the base. There is a short crack in the base heel as shown. No other damage or stains.
