A clear pint embossed in a circular arrangement as shown: "THE FAMILY FRUIT JAR". The jar displays well in spite of a few issues. There is some stain on the interior, and a short ding in the heel that cannot be seen on display. The correct style metal clamp is a replica. Old glass lid with high fin is a Canton Domestic type lid. The base of the jar is embossed: "PATd OCT 18-1887". Rare in pint size.
