A strong bright Citron colored quart embossed low on the front of the jar: "MASONS PATENT NOV 30TH 1858". The embossing on the front is identical to that of the mold series with a CFJCo monogram on the reverse. Sparkling glass without damage or stains. Has an enclosed bubble that is not yet burst, but does have a tiny, faint fissure on the inside skin of the bubble. Base with a backwards-embossed "027" above a "D". A great looking colored 1858 jar.
This item is from the Darryl Pearson collection.
