Appearance: sparkling glass, an unearthed jar that has been lightly tumbled to restore the original luster
Condition: No damage, including a perfect applied mouth. Around the shoulder of the jar are some short manufacturer's cooling fissures as shown, visible when held at just the right angle of view.
Base: open pontil scar
Age: 1850's
Availability: Extremely rare in this outstanding color. This beautiful jar is a fresh discovery that was recently unearthed in Michigan. Attributed to the Pittsburgh glass manufacturing district.
