Size:  HALF GALLON

Color:   AQUAMARINE

Closure:  original glass lid and original heavy coiled iron wire clamp (some rust pitting on metal, but very solid)

Appearance:  sparkling glass

Condition:  edge flaking of the ground mouth

Embossing:  strong

Base: "PATd MAR 10 1868" encircling a "4"

Age:  c1870

Availability:  scarce and a fine complete example
