This aqua quart is the scarce "VAN VLIET IMPROVED" version and is a fine specimen with sparkling glass, no damage, and retaining the original glass lid, cast iron yoke clamp with thumbscrew, and original wire in fine shape with very little rust. Good ground mouth with very little flaking. A sharp example of one of the scarcest jars in this series. Ex: ALEX KERR COLLECTION
