An aqua quart-sized example in nice condition without damage or stains. The embossed lettering is not the strongest, but is all clearly readable. Retains the correct original long-stemmed pickle pusher immerser closure, and the original distinctive style cast iron yoke clamp with thumbscrew that is unique to this jar alone. The glass lid has a chip on the top edge, and the lettering was ground down somewhat in the original manufacturing, to allow clearance for the clamp. Base: unmarked. A rare and appealing early odd-closure jar.
