DESCRIPTION

Size:  HALF GALLON

Color:  GREEN

Closure:  original immerser (pickle-pusher) glass lid which was ground in the manufacturing to fit perfectly into the mouth

Appearance:  shiny glass

Condition:  backside of the neck collar has a crack as shown

Embossing: strong

Base: unmarked

Age:  late 1800's

Availability: scarce early Australian jar
