DESCRIPTION
A shoulder seal quart embossed: "MASONS (Hero Cross) PATENT NOV 30TH 1858" in an unusual deeper shade of amber. Sparkling glass with crisp embossing and no damage or stains. The ground mouth has edge flaking. Comes with a fine Hero zinc cap. Base: "PAT NOV 26 67" encircling a "434". Seldom seen in darker shades of amber, and a fine example.
