DESCRIPTION
An aqua half gallon embossed: "WHITMORES PATENT ROCHESTER NY". Correct original high-finned glass lid with 1868 patent date, and scarce correct original shaped wire clamp (brass version with an old dark patina). Fine condition with no damage or stains, other than flaking off the ground mouth. Base: unmarked. Very scarce in this size, and especially with original clamp.
