DESCRIPTION
A half gallon shoulder seal jar embossed: "MASONS (Hero Cross) PATENT NOV 30TH 1858". Gorgeous coloration of yellow amber with amber swirling as shown. Shiny glass throughout with no damage or stains. Excellent ground mouth with very little nicking. Comes with a good Hero zinc cap. Base: "PAT NOV 26 67" encircling a "364". A rare and highly appealing colored 1858 jar.
