Size: about 4/5 of a GALLON (holds 13 cups liquid when filled to the lip)
Color: COLORLESS
Closure: rare original glass lid and a replica wire clamp
Appearance: shiny glass
Condition: normal flaking of the ground mouth
Embossing: strong
Base: "E"
Age: 1870's
Availability: Rare, and especially with an original lid. This is the largest size version in the Brinkerhoff series. Elaborate embossing both front and back which reads: "NO 10 OHIO EUREKA 1876 TRY ME THE OHIO FRUIT JAR COMPANY UPPER SANDUSKY OHIO" and on the other side "FOR FRUIT BUTTER HONEY LARD EGGS & C / AW BRINKERHOFF'S PATENT MARCH 14 1876"
