Closure: heavy applied ring collar mouth made for a cork stopper sealed with wax
Appearance: shiny glass, with original colorful product label from "J. HACHULEN PHILAD" for "FRESH PEACHES"
Condition: flake off the heel, label condition good as shown
Base: iron pontil scar
Age: 1850's
Availability: Extremely rare. The jar was featured in the artwork on the cover of Doug Hawkins book on pontiled fruit jars, and on page 26 of the book, a copy of which will be included with the jar.
