Size: QUART
Color: APPLE GREEN
Closure: original matching color glass lid (scarce 2-date lid which is thinner than the typical Lightning lid) and original metal clamp
Appearance: sparkling glass with a strong whittled effect all over
Condition: edge flaking on the ground mouth
Embossing: strong
Base: "PUTNAM 47"
Age: late 1800's
Availability: Scarce with this degree of glass character. This Lightning comes from a collection assembled over 20 years & consisting of only the most select examples, with each jar in the color run upgraded many times with better & better specimens.
