Color: DARK GREEN with variegated color becoming nearly black in the lower section, due to very thick glass
Closure: applied sloping ring collar mouth for a cork stopper
Appearance: shiny with good crude and seedy glass character
Condition: no damage, the top surface of the applied mouth is crude with undulations probably from the manufacturing, as shown
Strength of Embossing: medium
Base: crude, unmarked, not pontiled
Age: c1860-1870
Availability: scarce and a nice crude specimen
