DESCRIPTION
Size: QUART - wide mouth version
Color: DEEP COBALT BLUE
Closure: Deep cobalt glass lid and original fancy iron screw band. Note that the glass lid is installed upside down, such that the ground mouth is the sealing surface. Turning it over, it won't quite straddle the lip. It is however a correct original lid.
Appearance: shiny
Condition: no damage, normal flaking of the ground mouth
Strength of embossing: strong
Base: unmarked
Age: late 1800's
Availability: scarce and offers fantastic shelf appeal owing to the fabulous, eye-catching color
