Closure: correct original glass lid in a near-matching color, and original wire bail clamp
Appearance: shiny with a light whittled effect, faint trace of deposit inside
Condition: no damage and a nice ground mouth with very little flaking
Strength of embossing: strong
Base: "PUTNAM 321"
Age: late 1800's
Availability: very scarce and highly appealing in this deep color
