Color: AQUAMARINE
Closure: beautiful reproduction clamp and an unmarked aqua glass lid (not original)
Appearance: shiny glass
Condition: edge chipping on the ground mouth
Embossing: strong on both sides
Base: unmarked
Age: 1860's
Availability: Rare and a beautiful, well-embossed example. There are a number of different jars in the Earles Patent series, all of which are quite rare. This half gallon mold is among the rarest of all. The maker has been attributed to the Lyndeboro Glass Co of New Hampshire.
