DESCRIPTION
Size: GALLON+
Color: AQUAMARINE
Closure: Correct original rare style with white milk glass liner embossed with Hero Cross
Appearance: shiny
Condition: Jar is in good shape with no damage, normal minor flaking of the ground mouth. The rare original zinc cap is in good shape with a section or roughness along the lower flange and a tiny pinhole in the metal threads.
Strength of embossing: strong lettering over a ghosted "THE PEARL"
Base: unmarked
Age: c1870's
Availability: very scarce oversized jar
