Size: TALL HALF PINT
Color: AQUAMARINE
Closure: all original
Appearance: sparkling glass
Condition: thin chip running along the inside of the mouth
Embossing: strong
Base: "PUTNAM 436"
Age: late 1800's
Availability: Scarce. These are usually referred-to by collectors as "Salesman Sample" due to the proportions of the jar which emulates a scaled-down version of a standard quart, but they were most likely product jars for food items such as condiments or spices. At least one example with product label is known.
