DESCRIPTION
Size: HALF GALLON
Color: AQUAMARINE
Closure: original glass lid and original cast iron clamp (metal has rust pitting but very solid)
Appearance: sparkling glass
Condition: no damage including a perfect mouth and perfect glass lid
Embossing: strong
Base: "N" within a 5-pointed star logo, which refers to the Newark Star Glass Works in Ohio, where the jar was made
Age: late 1800's
Availability: scarce to find, especially with the original clamp
