Age: a few years old
Availability: This jar and several others were blown in Clayton, NJ a few years back using a surviving original period mold that was discovered in NJ. The jars are characterized by very heavy weight glass, a sheared (broke-off) and not-ground mouth (or with the mouth blow-over left intact), the number 5 on the base, and of course displaying no usage wear, and mostly in wild swirling or dark colors.
