Size: HALF GALLON
Color: clear with an AMETHYST tint
Closure: milk glass (AG Smalley) insert and a zinc screw band
Appearance: shiny glass with a trace of haze on the bottom
Condition: edge chipping on the ground mouth
Embossing: very strong
Base: unmarked
Age: late 1800's
Availability: rare, this example is not the typical reworked mold version, it does not have any peened-out lettering, and MASONS has no quotation marks
