DESCRIPTION
Size: QUART
Color: GREEN with some subtle amber swirling visible
Closure: zinc cap
Appearance: shiny glass
Condition: edge flaking on the ground mouth
Embossing: strong, and note the backwards embossed "N" in DUPONT
Base: a large "G" enclosing a "IX", which is believed to refer to the Gayner Glass Co of Salem NJ, the maker of this jar.
Age: late 1800's
Availability: rare, especially in this appealing color variation
