DESCRIPTION

Size: the metal is 1-3/4" in outer diameter

Color:   cast iron

Fits:   early stopper jar with a 2" mouth opening

Appearance:  good

Condition:  excellent, the gasket is rolled upward at the edges, and missing part of the margin, as shown

Availability:  rare, this stopper was originally found on an unmarked stoneware jar
