DESCRIPTION
Size: QUART
Color: AQUAMARINE
Closure: Correct original glass lid with 1866 patent date. As with most examples of this jar, the zinc ring is most likely replaced.
Appearance: shiny
Condition: normal flaking of the ground mouth, the zinc ring has some short vertical splits at the top edge
Strength of embossing: strong
Base: "WHITNEY GLASS WORKS GLASSBORO, NJ 2"
Age: late 1800's
