Size: MIDGET PINT
Color: AQUAMARINE
Closure: Rare original unlined zinc cap with top lugs and clearly readable lettering as shown. Note the interesting use of vertical crimps in the threads, part of the original manufacturing process to fit the lid to the midget pint size jar. Also note the unusual top lugs, in which small triangular tabs of the cap were punched out and filled with solder to form the lugs.
Appearance: sparkling, crude and bubbly
Condition: normal nicking of the ground mouth, the zinc cap has one tiny pinhole at the upper edge, only visible when held to a light
Strength of embossing: strong
Base: unmarked
Age: 1860's
Availability: rare with this fine original cap
