Closure: applied groove ring wax sealer mouth finish for a tin cap sealed with wax
Appearance: shiny
Condition: some minor nicks on the applied mouth
Strength of embossing: medium to strong
Base: "6"
Age: late 1800's
Availability: very tough to find any example of this jar without serious mouth damage or repair, this is one of the nicest specimens
