DESCRIPTION
Size: QUART
Color: AQUAMARINE
Closure: Correct original aqua glass lid (with olive green streak), original cast iron yoke clamp with original thumbscrew, and original wire the encircles the entire jar. The metal is in fine shape with very little rust at all.
Appearance: shiny
Condition: minor nicking of the ground mouth
Strength of embossing: strong
Base: "5"
Age: late 1800's
Availability: a fine example of this scarce and appealing early jar
