DESCRIPTION
Size: approximately a quart
Color: COLORLESS
Closure: correct original glass lid with specimen hanger molded into the underside, and original heavy cast iron yoke clamp with thumbwheel
Appearance: shiny with light overall scuffing on the exterior
Condition: flaking on the bottom of the lid and flaking of the ground mouth
Strength of embossing: lid only
Base: open pontil scar
Age: late 1800's
Availability: scarce early specimen jar
