DESCRIPTION
Size: HALF GALLON
Color: AQUAMARINE
Closure: Ball Brothers Buffalo NY glass insert and a zinc screw band (minor edge flaking on the glass insert)
Appearance: sparkling
Condition: no damage including a good ground mouth with very little flaking
Strength of embossing: strong
Base: a large "8"
Age: late 1800's
Availability: scarce reworked-mold Ball jar (prior to re-working, this mold was embossed "THE BALL PAT APLD FOR" and with a Lightning style mouth finish)
