DESCRIPTION
Size: HALF GALLON
Color: GREENISH
Closure: correct original glass lid with 1886 patent date and scarce correct original 3-piece cast iron and iron wire clamp assembly
Appearance: shiny, with some scuffs around the shoulder that are a typical from the original manufacturing
Condition: nicks on bottom of glass lid, the ground mouth has a low place in the grinding as shown, which might be from the original manufacturing
Strength of embossing: strong
Base: "3"
Age: late 1800's
Availability: scarce complete original example
