DESCRIPTION
Size: HALF PINT
Color: EMERALD GREEN
Closure: correct original metal cam-action yoke clamp stamped with the Safety Valve logo, and incorrect aqua glass lid
Appearance: sparkling glass
Condition: flaking of the ground mouth, with two chips running along the inner edge of the mouth that are not quite detached
Strength of embossing: base only
Base: shown
Age: late 1800's
Availability: Extremely rare in this color in half pint size. Note that the emerald green pint size version of this jar uses the same lid. And we have a complete pint jar with perfect lid coming up in our July auction.
