Closure: Push-down style grooved ring wax sealer mouth finish. You are bidding on the rare jar which is in fine shape. Thrown in for no additional charge is a dug example of the correct glass cap in rough shape (chips on bottom of cap).
Appearance: shiny and crude
Condition: rough sheared mouth from the making
Base: unmarked
Age: 1860's
Availability: extremely rare in clear glass
