Size: QUART
Color: AQUAMARINE
Closure: original glass lid and beautiful original cast iron yoke clamp with cam-action elevator wheel, retaining most of what appears to be the original black paint
Appearance: seedy and sparkling glass, with a small starred pot stone in the back from the making
Condition: normal roughness of the ground mouth
Strength of embossing: strong
Base: unmarked
Age: late 1800's
Availability: a scarce and appealing early jar
