DESCRIPTION
Size: HALF GALLON
Color: AQUAMARINE
Closure: correct original unmarked (clear glass) insert and original zinc band with soldered-on wrench lugs
Appearance: sparkling and beautifully whittled glass
Condition: normal flaking of the ground mouth
Strength of embossing: strong
Base: unusual base marking with a raised dot to the left of a "5"
Age: 1870's
Availability: scarce especially with this degree of glass character
