DESCRIPTION
Size: QUART
Color: AQUAMARINE
Closure: Original long-stemmed immerser lid, and rare original cast iron yoke clamp with thumbscrew. Note that as normal, the lettering on the lid was ground down by the manufacturer to permit clearance for the clamp, there is also a small chip on the edge of the lid.
Appearance: shiny glass
Condition: jar is in fine shape with no damage at all
Embossing: medium
Base: unmarked
Age: c1870
Availability: Rare, especially with correct clamp. This jar was from the collection of ALEX KERR.
