Closure: Original glass lid, original cast iron yoke, original thumbscrew, and original wrap-around wire clamp. The metal is in nice clean untouched condition.
Appearance: shiny glass
Condition: shallow flaking of the ground mouth
Embossing: strong

Age: late 1800's
Availability: scarce side-wire version and a great-looking example
